LONDON PREMIERE OF NORWEGIAN DANCE DOCUMENTARY, NORTHERN DISCO LIGHTS, ANNOUNCED

Norway may only have a population of 5 million, but within its icy borders, a rich culture of dance music has prospered. Now a new film, Northern Disco Lights: The Rise and Rise of Norweigan Dance Music, documenting this amazing story is set to premiere in London — and you can attend!

Produced by the team behind Paper Recordings and the 2012 documentary Last Shop Standing, Northern Disco Lights tells the tale of how Norwegian disco grew from isolated communities in the cities of Bergen and Tromsø to re-shape the modern global scene.

The film features classic archive footage and interviews with key players and taste-makers such as Prins Thomas, Annie, Bjørn Torske, Lindstrøm, Idjut Boys and Bill Brewster.

Already making waves in the documentary-making community, Northern Disco Lights has been selected for CPH:DOX festival in Copenhagen in 2017, and will hold its London premiere at Doc 'N Roll festival in Shoreditch on 5th November st 9pm.
