The release follows her 2021 debut solo album 'Tectonic'

Hannah Holland releases new EP 'Beats Aesthetic'

Hannah Holland has released a new EP ‘Beats Aethetic’. Check it out below.

Out now via PRAH recordings, the four-track EP draws upon a wide range of influences – from '90s rave to deconstructed beats, infused with the voices of Warholian trans icon Cindy Darling and New York '70s punk writer Kathy Acker.

Raised on acts like Kraftwerk, Grace Jones, and Talking Heads, and inspired by Metalheadz parties of the mid-'90s, Hannah Holland has been a prominent figure in London’s queer scene for almost two decades. Her latest EP, ‘Beats Aesthetic’, follows her debut solo album ‘Tectonic’ which was released via PRAH recordings in September 2021.

Speaking on the release, Hannah Holland said: "Put simply, Beats Aesthetic is a sleazy, bouncy, grungy house banger, taking you on a trip through a late night basement club crawl."

Back in 2020, DJ Mag hosted a live-streamed Ableton Live session with Hannah Holland where she gave songwriting tips as well as insight into her production techniques.

DJ Mag also spoke with the Batty Bass label boss, DJ and producer in depth back in 2019, you can read the full feature here.
