Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah has unveiled his upcoming memoir, Rise Of A Killah: My Life In The Wu-Tang.

Set for release on 14th May 2024 via Macmillan Publishers, the 240-page memoir will chronicle the life of Dennis Coles, aka Ghostface Killah – described by the publisher as “both a visual record and a real-feel narrative of a performer’s life."

The book will touch upon the rapper’s childhood in Staten Island, relationships with family and friends, the impact of crime and violence on his life, his artistic endeavours, a pivotal tour in Japan during the '90s, and his experiences with fellow Wu-Tang Clan members.

In recent years, other Wu-Tang Clan members have shared their stories through memoirs, including Raekwon’s From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan which was released in 2021.

Last month, the legendary hip-hop crew were honoured with the first official ‘Wu-Tang Day’ in New York City. Marking three decades of the iconic ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)’ LP, the Empire State Building was lit with the outfit’s classic yellow and black colours.

Rise Of A Killah: My Life In The Wu-Tang is currently available for pre-order in hardcover, e-book, and digital audio formats. You can secure a copy here.
