Wu-Tang Clan return with new single, 'Claudine': Listen

Wu-Tang Clan have shared a brand new single, 'Claudine'.

Out now, it marks the group's first official single in six years and includes guest vocals from Dutch singer and Roc Nation signee Nicole Bus. Wu-Tang members Method Man and Ghostface Killah also both appear on the track.

'Claudine' touches on themes of love, loss and heartbreak, and pays homage to the 1974 blaxploitation film of the same name, starring Diahann Carroll and James Earl Jones. The new track's release comes in the 50th anniversary year of the hip-hop genre that Wu-Tang Clan have been a cornerstone of for three decades. They will also soon mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album, 'Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)'.

'Claudine' is produced by Mathematics, Wu-Tang Clan's longtime DJ. In a statement, he said: "'Claudine' was made as a dedication to my mother as well as an ode to all mothers, wives and young women, reflecting their struggle, strength, courage and love."

Wu-Tang Clan have just rounded off a world tour for 2023 with a joint run of shows with Nas across North America.
