Unreleased Avicii remix, 'Beautiful Drug', shared for the first time: Listen
The remix of Zac Brown Band had "been in the vault for a long time" following Avicii's death in 2018
A previously unheard remix by Avicii has hit streaming platforms for the first time this week.
Marking the late artist's first posthumous release in almost five years, following the 2019 issue of final studio album 'Tim', his remix of country outfit Zac Brown Band's 2015 single 'Beautiful Drug' had "been in the vault for a long time", Zac Brown said upon its release this week.
"Before Avicii's passing, he and I worked together on a song called 'Broken Arrows'," Brown added. "And in return, he promised to do a remix on one of my songs" ['Beautiful Drug'].

Earlier this year, members of the Avicii subreddit confirmed that they were planning to launch a podcast about the late artist which will be "from fans, for fans".
That news came shortly after an Avicii tribute concert hosted by the Tim Bergling Foundation took place at Stockholm's Avicii Arena.
The Tim Bergling Foundation is a suicide prevention and mental health organisation founded by Avicii’s parents following his death by suicide in 2018. In 2020, the organisation launched For A Better Day, a campaign exploring preventative measures relating to suicide and promoting conversations with young people about psychological wellbeing.
