New Burial 12”, ‘Dreamfear’, expected on XL next month
XL teased the release earlier this month by sharing two audio clips on social media
A new two-track release from Burial, ‘Dreamfear’, is expected to land on XL Recordings next month.
Comprising tracks 'Dreamfear' and B-side 'The Boy Who Never Turned Up', the 'Dreamfear' 12" is up on the Phonica Records site – listed as "very limited white label copies" – and the Sounds of the Universe site. It's reportedly due on 9th February.

In 2023, Burial released a collaborative EP with Hyperdub boss Kode9, 'Infirmary/Unknown Summer' on fabric originals while several of his tracks were used to soundtrack Burberry's Autumn/Winter 2023 runway show in February.
'Prophecy,' a new collaborative track with EL-B was also digitally released in January 2023, originally produced in 2009.
