Heavee announces new album, 'Unleash', on Hyperdub
It's the first release of Hyperdub's 20th anniversary year
Footwork producer Heavee is releasing a new album through Hyperdub.
Spanning 14 tracks, 'Unleash' is the Chicago artist's full-length debut for Hyperdub and arrives off the back of 2022's 'Audio Assault' EP for the label. It's the first release of the imprint's 20th anniversary year.
With a firm focus on the dancefloor, the tracks on 'Unleash' fold elements of R&B, jazz, rap and grime into footwork's 160 BPM rhythmic framework. Its announcement is backed by an online adventure game, which you can play for yourself here.
