Manchester's Pie Radio announces amapiano and Afrobeats event tour series
Events are scheduled to take place in London, Manchester and Birmingham
Manchester-based, youth-led radio station Pie Radio is organising an events series that will showcase a number of figures from across the amapiano and Afrobeats music scenes.
Kicking off on 5th March, London's Ministry Of Sound will welcome DJ Maphorisa for his UK debut, with support from Uncle Waffles, Larizzle and Neptizzle. Tickets for that event can be purchased here.
The following weekend, DJ Maphorisa and Uncle Waffles will support headliner Davido (pictured) for two dates, at the Birmingham Forum (11th March) and Manchester's O2 Victoria Warehouse (12th March). Tickets for those shows are available here.
The series of shows will finish at the start of April, with an extensive line-up of amapiano figures coming together for shows at Manchester's BEC Arena (1st April), The Mill in Birmingham (2nd April) and London's Night Tales (3rd April). Larizzle, Lady Du, Boohle and Amaroto are among the artists booked to play those shows, with tickets available here.
