Goldie to publish uncensored, hard-hitting memoir, All Things Remembered

The enigmatic Goldie will publish an uncensored, hard-hitting memoir, called 'All Things Remembered' this November, it has been announced today.

Published by Faber, the book is a warts-and-all look at the iconic producer's story from West Midlands care home to becoming one of drum and bass' most recognisable DJs and producers.

“It is an explosive story of abuse, revenge, graffiti, gold teeth, sawn-off shotguns, car crashes, hot yoga, absent fatherhood, and redemption through reality TV,” Faber explains via a press release.

Before the book's release, Goldie will release his new album 'The Journey Man', his first since 1998, which is influenced by his love of films, especially Stanley Kubrick. You can listen to one of the album's tracks below.

“All Things Remembered is not just the story of how and why," explains Goldie in the press release. "It’s everything from the children’s homes to the Whispering Wheels roller-disco to rolling with the graffiti kings of New York to writing with David Bowie to reinventing myself as the Dorian Gray of fucking breakbeat.

“It’s a music book like no other, and I’m very excited to be working with Faber and Ben Thompson to get my dreams down on paper.”
