Avicii’s ‘Heaven’ has been remixed by David Guetta

The release will drop tomorrow

David Guetta has remixed Avicii's 'Heaven'.

Originally recorded with Chris Martin in 2014, the late Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, completed the final version of the track in 2016 before its release on album 'Tim' this year.

David Guetta, who previously received a grammy nomination alongside Avicii for their collaborative track 'Sunshine' in 2011, has teamed up with Danish DJ and producer Morten to work on the remix.

“I’ve wanted to do something to honor Avicii for quite a long time, but was waiting for the right moment," Guetta said on the remix. "After I heard ‘Heaven’ for the first time I was blown away by the sound, the lyrics and the vocals from Chris Martin. What makes it extra special is that Chris Martin has always been a big inspiration with Coldplay for both Tim and myself. That’s why it felt like the right moment for me to make a remix of this track as a tribute to Tim."

The track will be released by Avicii's estate tomorrow, August the 23rd at 12:01 AM EST. Check out a clip of the track below.
