Love International 2019 in photos

Capturing a week in the sunny surroundings of Tisno for one of Europe's most-loved festivals, which this year hosted Eris Drew, Ben UFO, Call Super, Peach, Shanti Celeste and lots more

Love International returned to the paradise setting of the Garden in Tisno for its fourth year earlier this month, for eight days of raving on the Adriatic Coast. Running 24 hours a day for five of those may seem excessive, but Love International’s ability to combine festival and summer holiday — with Croatian seaside town Tisno only a short walk away — makes for a more relaxed raving experience than many comparative European festivals.

Split across two sites, with beach resort The Garden hosting the daytime parties and Barbarella’s Discotheque (endearingly referred to by regulars as Barbs) opening for the night, the weekend saw standout early sets from Joy Orbison, Ben UFO, Ivan Smagghe b2b Vladimir Ivkovic and Orpheu The Wizard. Barbarella’s packed programme peaked with the inimitable Eris Drew, an artist right at the fore of the art of DJing in 2019.

Two boats, the Argonaughty and The Martina, ran four boat parties a day, with Midland and Ciel’s the hottest ticket across the week. The sun-drenched sunsets they sail through are one part of what makes Love International one of the greatest places to party on the planet for one long week every summer.
