Trance and progressive powerhouse Markus Schulz does not work in half measures. His trademark is playing from start to finish. And along with countless gigs each year playing for millions of fans at festivals and clubs in cities nearly everywhere, he’s also somehow managed to write dozens of hit singles and EPs, helm a record label and an internationally syndicated radio show, and produce a whopping six artist albums, with number seven having just been released.

It’s this staggering work ethic and obvious talent that has kept the German-American in the DJ Mag Top 100 for so many years since 2004. He just dropped out of the 100 last year, but has now bounced back in again. Along with his album, ‘We Are the Light’, he’s just released singles ‘Safe From Harm’ with Emma Hewitt and ‘Upon My Shoulders’ with Sebu from Capital Cities.

“The concept album under my Dakota alter-ego titled ‘The Nine Skies’ is also out now,” Schulz says. “And I’m honoured to mix the legendary ‘In Search of Sunrise 14’ CD series.”
