They may have slipped from No.64 last year, but smiley Dutch duo Lucas de Wert and Steven Jansen have made sure every second counted in 2018. “It was a big year for us!” they say. “We’ve been busy at the studio making many tracks that had more impact than we could have ever dreamed of.” By “tracks” they mean summer anthems like ‘I Could Be Wrong’, written with none other than US singer Brandy, a hit that saw support from names like Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack and Robin Schulz. There was also their future house bomb, ‘Source,’ and the undeniably sunny big-room smash ‘Anywhere.’

They got the chance to tour all that new material in plenty of new places this year, too. “We’ve hit a personal record: we did the most and best shows ever, including Tomorrowland and Creamfields,” they tell DJ Mag.

They also played Mysteryland, and saw their mix show Skyline Sessions near 100 episodes. The future is bright for this pair.
