Shanghai's ChengLong (Leon) Zhou, aka DJ L, made his debut into the Top 100 last year, and rightly so. Over the last few years he’s fast established himself in Asia and beyond, riding off the back of some big hit singles last year including ‘Kraken’ and ‘Avalon’ with AvAlanche & Flash Finger. Think big room trap and bass for the masses, and the hype has subsequently spurred plenty of non-stop touring ever since. This year alone he’s played over 100 shows across Asia, USA, America and Europe. Some of the most memorable shows have also been a landmark in his career so far, including Pacha Ibiza in Spain this summer, Ministry Of Sound in London, Papaya in Croatia and Illuzion in Phuket. As if he wasn’t busy enough, DJ L also spends his time programming the music at one of Shanghai’s most important nightclubs, MYST — the 2,000-capacity venue that entered the Top 100 Clubs poll at No.41 this year.
