XOYO announces Dusky as first 2020 residents

The London-based duo will take over from Dekmantel

Dusky have been announced as the first residents for 2020 at London club, XOYO.

The duo, real names Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell, who are also from the capital, will take over from Dekmantel Soundsystem to present twelve weeks of carefully curated line-ups.

Running from January 2020 through to March, Dusky will host Rise For Love, the 25th residency the party has held since its inception.

Kicking off on the 3rd January with an all night long set from the duo in the Basement, 17 Steps label affiliates Polymod and Third Son will host the Green Room upstairs at XOYO. Throughout the remainder of January, Special Request and object blue will perform alongside Dusky, as well as Paranoid London and DMX Krew, who perform live sets, and DJ Tennis.

Moving into February, Dusky invite Todd Edwards, Gerd Janson, Iona and Raw Silk to the Basement, with Green Room takeovers courtesy of DJ Haus, Yazzus, Crime Rave, and Klose One. There'll also be a d&b and jungle event, with Fabio & Grooverider, Jossy Mitsu and Storm all slated to perform at the club.

The final dates will see techno pioneer Derrick May head to Shoreditch, with sets from Glaswegian selector Big Miz and O'Flynn during March, as well a closing all night long set from Dusky on Friday 20th.
