This is the world's first HQ wireless turntable

Audiophile company Cambridge Audio have made the first aptX-compatible turntable...

Cambridge Audio's new Alva TT turntable is the first wireless player that uses HQ audio, streaming at 24-bit 48kHz. Though it's not the first wireless turntable, the Alva uses a high-quality Bluetooth technology called aptX, which provides much higher bandwidth and stability.

The turntable can connect directly to aptX-compatible speakers, headphones and amps but can also be connected wired through the built-in phono amp. All this fancy tech is gonna cost you – the Alva TT comes in at £1,500 and is available April 2019. If you're more of a grounded person, check Technics latest update to their SL-1210 range
