Ultra Music Festival reveals first acts for 2020 edition

Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, Armin van Buuren, Amelie Lens and many more are among the first acts announced for the Miami festival

The first acts for Ultra Music Festival 2020 have been announced.

Ultra will return to Bayfront Park for the 22nd edition next March, following months of uncertainty this year regarding the festival's location. Now, the first acts who'll perform at next year's edition have been announced.

Techno stalwart Amelie Lens has been confirmed as a headline DJ at the event, alongside Adam Beyer, who plays B2B with Cirez D AKA Eric Prydz, Richie Hawtin, and Tale Of Us.

The techno takeover continues with Dubfire, who plays a triple B2B with Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna, as well as Jamie Jones who will go B2B with Carl Cox and a special guest. Trance legends Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond will also perform at the event, with Eric Prydz, FISHER, and Martin Garrix also confirmed for the headline slots.

Ultra have also announced four, exclusive live headliners. Australian bass star Flume will perform live on the main stage at Bayfront Park, alongside Gesaffelstein, Major Lazer, and Zedd, who presents a special show, The Orbit.

Ultra Music Festival takes place in Miami from the 20th to the 22nd March 2020.

In October, Ultra announced they would adapt the Resistance Island stage, which was used at the Virginia Key location, for the 2020 edition of the festival.

Ultra Worldwide will kick into action in February, which commences with Ultra South Africa before India, then Abu Dhabi, and Ultra Australia.
