Ultra has been cancelled in Abu Dhabi

“As part of the local and international measures to ensure the health and safety of the public”

The Abu Dhabi edition of Ultra Music Festival, set to take place tomorrow and Friday (5th & 6th) has been cancelled “as part of the local and international measures to ensure the health and safety of the public”.

Ultra Abu Dhabi, which was set to be the first Ultra event in the Middle East, announced it would not be going ahead following a statement posted on the official website.

The statement can be seen here, and reads: "The local organizers of Ultra Abu Dhabi have canceled the upcoming event. Tickets will be refunded through the original point of purchase."

Although more information has not been shared by Ultra, an email sent to ticket purchasers stated: "In line with our commitment to deliver the ULTIMATE Ultra experience to our festival goers and as part of the local and international measures taken bto ensure the health and safety of the public, Ultra Abu Dhabi 2020 will be postponed. The decision has been taken due to the travel restrictions imposed by some countries and airlines for individuals and groups."

AfroJack, Eric Prydz and Seth Troxler were among the headliners slated to perform at the Du Arena.
