Tomorrowland announces immersive VR audiovisual exhibition exploring festival’s themes and design
Expanding on the Belgian megafestival's fantastical themes, 'The Great Library of Tomorrow' opens next month in Barcelona
Tomorrowland is expanding upon its festival themes in an upcoming virtual reality immersive audiovisual exhibition in Barcelona.
'The Great Library of Tomorrow' will open on 15th December at Aribau Immersive Space in Barcelona and run through March 2024. It'll develop the worlds initially created by its annual themes and fantasy fiction series and will present an hour-long storytelling and art experience in digital and physical spaces.
After the initial run in Barcelona, 'The Great Library of Tomorrow' will travel and set up in other international TBA locations throughout 2024. The VR exhibition is a collaboration with Tomorrowland and Blanco y Negro Music and Layers of Reality's Xtended Reality Music Hub studio.
Tomorrowland published The Rise of Ascendo, the first novel in its fantasy series, this past June.
Revisit the 2023 Belgium megafestival via the new aftermovie, which premiered last week.
Tomorrowland recently revealed the first acts set to play its 2024 Winter festival in March.
In October, Tomorrowland secured its home of Boom’s De Schorre Park in a 66-year deal.
