Stormzy, Dave, Mabel, among winners at BRIT Awards 2020

Tyler, The Creator also scooped an award

The winners of the 2020 BRIT Awards have been revealed.

The annual event, which took place last night (19th) at London's O2 arena, was also celebrating its 40th anniversary, and saw two-time winner Stormzy take the award for Best Male Solo Artist. London's Mabel scooped the award for Best Female Solo Artist, while Foals took the accolade for best group.

Elsewhere, Streatham MC Dave took home the award for his acclaimed 2019 album 'Psychodrama', and International Male and Female Solo Artist awards were picked up by Tyler, The Creator and Billie Eilish respectively.

Among the other acts nominated were AJ Tracey, FKA twigs, Calvin Harris, and Mark Ronson.

Dave also won the 2019 Mercury Prize for his debut album, 'Psychodrama'.

BRIT nominee Stormzy was recently embroiled in a grime beef with Wiley which saw the pair exchange a number of diss tracks. He'll be heading out on a 55-date world tour in support of latest album 'Heavy is the Head' over the course of this year.
