Sónar Barcelona announces first 70 names for 2024 line-up

The Spanish flagship will welcome Floating Points, Charlotte de Witte, CASISDEAD, and more for its 2024 edition

Sónar has announced the first phase of names for its flagship 2024 festival in Barcelona. 

Taking place between 13th-15th June 2024, the event’s 31st edition will welcome leading names from the dance music community for a global celebration of electronic music and digital culture.

70 artists have been announced so far for Sónar 2024, including Floating PointsKaytranada, Jessie Ware, Ben Böhmer (Live), Charlotte de Witte – who was recently voted the World’s No. 1 Techno DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2023 poll – Vince Staples, CASISDEAD, and Folamour (A/V).

Also heading to the festival next June will be Kerri Chandler, The Martinez BrothersToya Delazy, and Reinier Zonneveld (Live), joined by The Knife’s Olof DreijerMarie Davidson, Surgeon & Speedy J, Surusinghe, Cinthie (Live), and more. Check out the full first round of artists set to play below.

In addition to live shows and DJ sets, Sónar 2024 will host a series of masterclasses, debate forums, professional meetings, and an exhibition of creative-technological projects. Sónar has also announced that artists and scientists will cover subjects and themes such as the applications of AI in fields like music, sound, film, stage design, video games, and alternative realities.

Ahead of its flagship Spanish outing, Sónar will return to the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, for its third weekender in the city (22nd – 24th March), and then head to Istanbul for the eighth time (26th – 28th April 2023), where a stacked bill of performers and industry heads set to be released soon.
