Sónar and OFFSónar launch Sónar Week Barcelona
The week-long Barcelona event will see over 100 sets from artists across the globe
Sónar and OFFSónar have announced their week-long celebration of electronic music and culture in Barcelona for this June, for the first time offering festival goers a special Sónar Week Pass.
Sónar Week Barcelona will take place from 13th June to 16th June 2024 at Fira Montjuïc and Fira Gran Via, showcasing over 100 performances from across the electroni music spectrum. The Sónar Week Pass will give guests access to events as part of Sónar by Day, Sónar by Night, Sónar+D and all of OFFSónar.
Acts already confirmed to appear at the event include Air, Jessie Ware, Kaytranada, Charlotte de Witte, The Martinez Brothers, Kerri Chandler, TOMMY CASH, Ben Böhmer, Reinier Zonneveld and many more. See the 70+ names already announced here.
As part of OFFSónar, Barcelona's Brunch Electronik will host an eclectic mix of artists on Thursday across two stages: the Monasterio and Carpa & Picnic. Solid Grooves is slated to take over on Friday, while Saturday will see Keinemusik take over Plaza Mayor. More acs as part of OFFSónar will be announced soon.
Elsewhere, Sónar+D will host a programme of talks, masterclasses and performances exploring art, science and digital culture throughout the week.
Sonar celebrated its 30th anniversary last June, with Aphex Twin returning to the event for the first time in 12 years, debuting a new audiovisual show. The festival team also finalised their Sónar Lisboa 2024 line-up late last year, confirming Nia Archives, Helena Hauff b2b Imogen, Jennifer Loveless, and more.
