Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J Blige to perform at Super Bowl

Enimen and Dr. Dre will also make an appearance at Super Bowl LVI's halftime show.

Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J Blige are among five multi-award-winning artists set to perform at next year's Super Bowl.

Taking place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday, 13th February 2022, Superbowl LVI will also feature halftime appearances by Eminem and his long-time mentor, Dr. Dre.

“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl LVI half-time show, and to do it in my own back yard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a statement. “I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”

Super Bowl LVI marks the first time the event has taken place in Los Angeles in 30 years.

Joining legendary halftime acts such as Beyoncé, Madonna, Prince and Stevie Wonder, The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - performed solo, backed up by a choir, band and dancers at Super Bowl LV back in February.

Back in June, it was revealed that Dr. Dre was opening a new high school in Los Angeles alongside record executive Jimmy Iovine.
