Rave Archive is a living history of the ‘90s rave scene

Prepare to get nostalgic...

A website offers the chance to delve into a "living history" of the mid '90s rave scene.

Rave Archive is a dedicated online hub that catalogues a host of mixtapes and zines created during the decade.

Originally launched back in 2007, the resource "strives to bring you the best in '90s Rave nostalgia." The minds behind the website continued, "We have always approached it as both ravers and archivists making sure to save what was largely an ephemeral culture."

Waste away the hours on the archive here.

This week it was announced that illegal raves are on the rise in the UK.

This recently-published book tells a visual history of Chicago House using classic rave flyers.

Speaking of archives, here's a website full of copyright-free, downloadable samples.
