Premiere: Enzo Siragusa 'The Quest'

FUSE boss Enzo Siragusa serves up five alternative cuts from his 'Decade of Rave' project. Hear the bubbling synth and slick percussion on minimal roller, 'The Quest', now

Enzo Siragusa will release a new EP via FUSE London later this month.

Head honcho at FUSE, Siragusa celebrated 10 years of the integral London party and label last year with a double-album project, 'Decade of Rave', alongside a run of global parties.

His latest delivery, 'The Lost Dubs', incoming on the 28th February, leans towards the DJ and producer's darker tastes, and the darkser side of production, with heavy inspiration taken from the deeper side of jungle.

Speaking about the release, Siragusa shared: “Across the five years of making the music that eventually came together as my debut albums, my influence came from decades on the dancefloor and behind the booth. A predominant faze was the darker side of jungle from producers like Tango & Ratty, Doc Scott, Andy C and Photek. The Lost Dubs takes me there. It’s hard to transform Jungle into Minimal House and Techno because of the tempo, but I find my own way by using similar bassline and pads that you’d hear in early Jungle records."

Among the EP's four tracks, plus one digital exclusive, A2 'The Quest' stands out as an embodiment of the sound heard on the dancefloors at the beating heart of FUSE, 93 Feet East. A bubbling minimal techno track, slick percussion drives the track deeper into a bassline-led spiral of warped synth and glistening chimes.
