Pioneer DJ launch new flagship all-in-one player

The XDJ-XZ includes lots of features borrowed from the nxs2 range

Pioneer DJ have announced a new all-in-one unit the XDJ-XZ. The new unit is their flagship all-in-one, with all the features you'd expect taken from the DJM900nxs2 mixer, including all the Color FX and 14 Beat FX, as well as a new three-band EQ on the master channel, ideal for mobile DJs playing in less-than-ideal acoustic spaces. There are four channels in total, allowing users to add two sources on top of the two in-built channels.

A new feedback reducer also helps prevent 'howling' when using the mic. The on-jog screens from the DDJ range have made the leap to the new XZ, as well as full-size jog wheels from the CDJ2000nxs2. There are also eight performance pads per channel for sample, cue, loop trigger as well as stutter FX.

The XDJ-XZ also supports a new Link Export feature, so you can link together different Pioneer DJ devices like the 2000nxs2s, XDJ-XZ and the DJS-1000 for example. Serato DJ Pro support is also coming in early 2020. The 7-inch touchscreen is the centrepiece, where your waveforms, cue points and track info are visible. The unit is available now and costs £1,899.
