Obonjan Island announces first phase line-up

10-week programme of music, comedy & wellbeing activities...

Arguably Croatia’s most diverse festival offering Obonjan Island returns this summer with a 10-week programme of music, comedy, film, inspirational talks and wellbeing activities.

Taking place from Friday 23rd June to Sunday 3rd September, the festival takes place on a stunning remote island on the Adriatic sea.

Artists set to play over the course of the season include Hercules & Love Affair, Midland, Gerd Janson, Roy Ayers, Jordan Rakei, Gilles Peterson, Jack Savidge of Friendly Fires, Kaitlyn Aurelia, Flamingods, Norman Jay MBE and Horse Meat Disco.

Music is just one element of the Obonjan experience, during the day there’s daily talks, workshops, film screenings and more.

For those looking for some rest and rejuvenation there’s a full programme of wellbeing activities including yoga, meditation and fitness activities.

Last year's festival saw the like of Anderson Paak, Four Tet and DJ Shadow performing at the festival.

Dan Blackledge, co-founder at Obonjan, said: "As soon as we first set foot on Obonjan, we knew it was a special place, and last summer it was incredible to see the island come to life. Anyone who came, got a taste of what it has to offer, and this year is set to be better still. With an extensive creative programme and a raft of new developments on the island, it’s shaping up to be another extraordinary summer.”
