Nina Kraviz will headline 24-hour rave Inner City Electronic this June

The Leeds tear-up will also feature Shanti Celeste, Ben UFO, DJ Stingray, Kelly Lee Owens and 11 venues...

Nina Kraviz is headlining 24-hour rave Inner City Electronic, which takes place in the UK city of Leeds on Saturday 1st June.

The event, which debuted last year to widespread praise (including from ourselves), will also see local heavyweight Nightmares On Wax play the second instalment. Other notable line-up additions include Shanti Celeste, Ben UFO (whose Hessle Audio imprint has roots in town), Octave One, DJ Stingray, Kelly Lee Owens, Craig Richards, The Ghost, Mor Elian and Ross From Friends.

For the full programme attendees are being promised talks, tech workshops and more in addition to the obvious chaos and mayhem. A total of 11 venues will be used across Leeds, including legendary haunts such as Brudenell Social Club, Hope House and Wire.

The likes of HiFi, The Wardrobe, Freedom Mills, free party spot Distrikt, Old Red Bus Station and Church are also getting in on the act. Brudenell Groove, KMAH Radio, Cosmic Slop, Love Dose, Pretty Pretty Good and 20/20 Vision are among the party hosts.

The spread of spaces involved will reassure many that the city's nightlife scene remains in rude health, despite preparing to suffer two considerable club losses in 2019, with Canal Mills closing its doors and the legendary Mint Club shuttering at the end of February after more than 20 years
