Nina Kraviz reveals Ray-Ban collaboration

"I always dreamed to design my own sunglasses"

Nina Kraviz has designed a pair of sunglasses for Ray-Ban.

The techno star took to Instagram to unveil the collaboration with the US consumer giant and called it an "honor" to work with the company.

"I always dreamed to design my own sunglasses and it finally happened," she said. "Thank you the entire team who was working on this project and making it so beautiful."

Kraviz went on to reveal the limited edition "orange safari" and "eye green" models of her range and that the "cat eye" frame will be produced on a regular basis and named "Nina".

The techno icon is the latest in a line of artists to feature in the Ray Ban Studios 'Feel Your Beat' series, which also saw the Martinez Brothers collaborate with the brand.

Speaking to Dazed, Kraviz said: “The cat-eye hasn’t been produced by Ray-Ban for a long time, but I was adamant about our collaboration (using it), as that’s my favourite frame style.”

You can get your hands on the new designs here or at a limited selection of Ray-Ban stores.
