New 300-capacity warehouse club, Signal, to open in Sheffield

The club will open later this month

Sheffield is gaining a new club in the form of 300-capacity warehouse space, Signal.

After a trial period during the last few months in 2019, the promoters behind Signal have obtained a permanent license, and will launch their 2020 event series later this month.

Kicking off on the 31st January, Signal team up with Syko Disko to present two of Glasgow's finest, Jasper James and Big Miz, before La Rumba bring Kornél Kovács and Wow & Flutter to Sheffield the following weekend.

Events throughout the rest of February and March will welcome faces from the new wave of UKG, Conducta and Mind Of A Dragon, as well as Horse Meat Disco, Richy Ahmed, Prospa, and Benny L. There will also be two all night long performances, courtesy of Gerd Janson and Shanti Celeste.

In 2019, WerkhausColours and Peckham Audio became the newest names on London's nightlife map, while mega-venue Depot and Cotton bolstered Manchester's offering in the north.
