Motion Bristol announces full party programme for early 2020

Over 150 artists are slated to play Motion and Marble Factory

Motion Bristol has shared the acts and events kicking off its 2020 season.

Following the end of Motion's In:Motion season, which ran through October to December last year, the club will welcome over 150 artists to the venue in the first part of 2020.

The party programme kicks off on January 24th for Beat Horizon's one day festival, which will welcome the likes of Goldie, Raekwon of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, Roni Size, and more, in a celebration of the undeground.

HAAi curates a party the following night, joined by Optimo and Peach, before takeovers from D Double E, and Cirque Du Soul the following week, with performances from Detroit Swindle, Elliot Adamson, and more.

February consists mainly of drum & bass and garage takeovers, with the club welcoming the likes of Rudimental, Sub Focus, Conducta and Randall throughout the month. There will also be parties from La Discotheque, featuring Artwork and Greg Wilson, as well as Mall Grab's Looking For Trouble imprint, and The Blast.

The rest of Motion Bristol's opening season will welcome Sonny Fodera for a Solotoko party, as well as Honey Dijon, supported by DJ Seinfeld, object blue, DEBONAIR, and more. Previous XOYO resident Calibre will also play at the club in March, as well as hometown imprint Shall Not Fade, who celebrate their 4th anniversay with Big Miz, Kettama, Demuja, and more.

As the season comes to a close, Chase & Status, Princess Nokia, M Huncho, and more are billed for performances, with a whole host of acts yet to be announced.

Conducta and Calibre both scooped awards in DJ Mag's Best of British Awards last year. See the full list of award-winners here.

Artwork, Big Miz and Kettama will all play this year's FLY Open Air festival in Edinburgh.
