Mike Skinner reunites with Alexa Chung for new track and video
Skinner reunites with Chung after 13 years...
Mike Skinner, of The Streets fame, is back with a new track and video for the launch Alexa Chung's new designer collection for online fashion retailer My Theresa.
Not only has Skinner made the new track, he's also directed the accompanying video too, which features Chung, who previously featured in the video for The Streets' 2004 track, 'Could Well Be In’.
Speaking about the film and being reunited with Chung, Skinner said: “ I imagined we could both end up there but in different ways. Me DJ-ing at my club night TONGA, and Alexa campaigning for her beautiful clothes.”
Chung said: “It was so lovely to be reunited with Mike after all these years. I’m a huge fan of his and was at the time we made our first video together when I was I think 20 or 21. I suppose a lot has happened in the intervening time but it was nice to see how little he has changed.”
