The collaboration with Kranium and Kizz Daniel comes from their latest mixtape...

Major Lazer have dropped a new track, ‘Loyal’, featuring Kizz Daniel and Kranium, only days after announcing that their next album will be their last.

The trio team up with Jamaican singer Kranium and Nigerian artist Kizz Daniel for a smooth song that is as sad as it is uplifting, part of their Afrobeats (DJ Mix) mixtape.

The video, viewable here, is a collaboration with South African director Adriaan Louw, featuring surfing, waterfalls, dancing troupes and horse-riding on the beach.

Major Lazer have commented under the video on YouTube, “Senegal is the lion country where the youth are fearless.” The group are currently on tour in Africa, which started with a show on 29th September in Johannesburg.

The group celebrate their tenth anniversary this year, but will mark next year with a final album

Diplo cited his work with Mark Ronson as Silk City and Sia and Labrinth as LSD as part of the reason that album will be their last.

The rest of the Afrobeats mixtape can be enjoyed in full here.
