LSDXOXO releases video for new single, ‘DRaiN’: Watch
The pop-punk-influenced track is the first new material from his long-awaited debut album
LSDXOXO has shared the first taste of his debut album with the new single and music video, 'DRaiN'. Watch it below.
The Berlin-based Philadelphia artist leans into the pop-punk music of his youth on the new single, out now on Floorgasm, with guitar by Oscar Scheller and garage rock-influenced drum production. Further details about LSDXOXO's upcoming first album are still TBA.
“I wanted to make a piece of music that spoke to me in my adolescence how I wish I had been spoken to through pop culture in my formative years..." LSDXOXO says. "There were little-to-no showcased examples of gay love (especially alternative and black) in pop music back then, so I made this song to send back in time to baby LSDXOXO.”
‘DRaiN’ is the follow up to his 'Dedicated 2 Disrespect' remix EP for XL Recordings, released earlier this year. LSDXOXO also contributed to PinkPantheress's mixtape remix collection back in January.
