London club Colour Factory announces Ahadadream, Danielle, Mechatok, Shannen SP as 2022 residents

Each resident will curate three events at the Hackney Wick club

London’s Colour Factory has announced its residents for 2022.

The Hackney Wick club, in the space formerly held by Mick’s Garage, is kicking off the year with the announcement of four new residents: Ahadadream, Danielle, Mechatok and Shannen SP.

Each DJ will host three events in the 1000 capacity space, bringing their own distinct areas of expertise to the club with specially curated line-ups.

More Time and No ID co-founder Ahadadream will kick things off on 5th February, with a tbc line-up featuring a takeover from a Montreal collective in the club’s garden. Tickets are on sale here.

Nine Nights co-founder Shannen SP is a DJ, producer and vocalist whose work centres on the platforming and celebration of Black artistry across the audio-visual space. A regular DJ and curator in Colour Factory throughout 2021, she will return for the first night of her residency on 19th February. Grab your tickets here.

Berlin-based Machatok has become known for his euphoric and eclectic sets, which flit freely from trance and trap into pop and dancehall and beyond. His productions have turned heads too, having collaborated with Yung Lean, Charlie XCX, Bladee, Evian Christ and more. His residency kicks off on 26th March. Tickets are available here

London-based, Bristol-born DJ Danielle was nominated in the breakthrough DJ category of DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards in 2020. Having worked in hallowed record stores Phonica and Idle Hands, Danielle has become known for her impeccable and deep-diving selections and and irresistibly FWD-facing sound. Having played Colour Factory’s Black Artist Database party last September, she returns for the first night of her residency on 23rd April. Tickets are available here.
