LISTEN TO GLASTONBURY BLOCK9 SETS FROM ROGER SANCHEZ, THE BLACK MADONNA, PROSUMER, MORE

More massive mixes from this summer’s shindig down at Worthy Farm...

Block9, Glastonbury’s apocalyptic haven for underground house and techno, had a stellar year this summer, at the festival which ran from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th June.

The 24-hour party of heavyweight sound systems is split into four stages; Genosys, London Underground, NYC Downlow and the all-new new venue for 2016, The Meat Rack, which essentially served as Downlow’s room two.

Last week DJ Mag ran highlights from across the weekend including Hot Chip’s Prince tribute, Midland, Horse Meat Disco and more.

Now we have more massives mixes from Glastonbury 2016, including a two-hour deep house set from New York legend Roger Sanchez, as well as sets from The Black Madonna, Prosumer, Berlin’s Panorama Bar resident nd_baumecker and more.

Block9 co-founder Stephen Gallagher also revealed plans for an art installation meets music venue that they plan to open in London in 2018, before touring around Europe.

Speaking about the project, Gallagher told DJ Mag, “We’re planning a brand new, stand-alone structure that can arrive in a city centre location, and is a piece of artwork in its own right from the outside, as well as a whole other world inside.”
