Kendrick Lamar is set to release a 10th-anniversary version of his album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d. City'.

Originally released back in 2012, a limited-edition version of the California rapper's universally acclaimed second album will be available to buy exclusively via independent retailers on 22nd October. The release is pressed on 2XLP, opaque red-coloured vinyl. A CD version of the 10th-anniversary edition will also be available.

Featuring guest appearances from the likes of Drake, Dr. Dre, and Jay Rock, 'good kid, m.A.A.d. City' was Lamar’s major label debut, following his independently released first album 'Section.80' in 2011. After debuting at number two on the US Billboard 200, it earned Lamar four Grammy Award nominations at the 2014 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. It was later certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry of America (RIAA).

Back in May, Lamar released his long-awaited fifth album, ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’. Featuring appearances from Ghostface Killah, Portishead's Beth Gibbons and more, the 18-track LP marked the follow-up to his Pulitzer-winning 2017 LP 'Damn'.

A month later, Lamar headlined Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night of the festival.
