Kelela announces 'RAVE:N' remix album, shares Karen Nyame KG's 'Contact' rework: Listen

Kelela is putting out a remix album to accompany her latest record, 'Raven'.
Titled 'RAVE:N', it doesn't yet have a public release date, and the full tracklist is also not yet known. To mark the record's announcement, however, the US artist has shared a video for the lead cut, a remix of 'Contact' by Karen Nyame KG. You can watch it below.
"Sometimes I feel like I make original tracks just to experience the remix," Kelela said about 'RAVE:N', according to Pitchfork. "I think about how something will be interpolated while I'm writing and recording."
Speaking about Karen Nyame KG's amapiano remix of 'Contact', Kelela added that it is "hitting supreme levels of sexy – makes me wanna seduce someone on the dance floor."
