Kate Bush writes secret messages in select copies of forthcoming lyrics book
The paperback version arrives this spring
Kate Bush has written secret messages into select copies of her book, 'How To Be Invisible: Lyrics'.
The forthcoming paperback edition of the book, which first landed in hardback in 2018, comes complete with an updated introduction by Bush. A small, randomly selected number of signed copies will also contain a hidden note, penned in invisible ink, which can only be seen under UV light. The book will be available through Waterstones, Rough Trade, and independent book and record shops across the UK.
The new editions also and fresh cover designed by award-winning artist Jim Kay. He has previously worked on dark fantasy bestseller 'A Monster Calls' and five illustrated versions of the Harry Potter books.
The paperback edition of 'How To Be Invisible: Lyrics' will be released on 6th April and is available to pre-order here.
In 2022, Netflix's highly-anticipated fourth season of 'Stranger Things' catapulted Bush back to number one in the UK charts, introducing her work to a new generation of fans. The series used the iconic track, 'Running Up That Hill', as a regular theme tune for one of its main characters, Max. Just before Christmas, Bush also shared a festive message with fans, marking the second consecutive year she has done this after offering season's greetings in 2021 while calling for National Health Service staff to receive a fair pay rise.
