JAMIE JONES & KATE SIMKO ANNOUNCE LIVE ORCHESTRAL PERFORMANCE

The show is being held in Bogota, Columbia...

On 3rd December 2017, two of electronic music’s heavies, Jamie Jones and Kate Simko, will merge classical sonics with electronic music in Bogota, Columbia — it's the first orchestral-electronic concert of its kind in Latin America.

The showcase will feature a full set of Jones’ originals reconfigured for orchestra including 'Hungry for the Power', 'Tonight In Tokyo', and Hot Natured’s 'Benediction'.  Simko’s opening set will showcase songs from her London Electronic Orchestra album and the duo’s past partnerships on 'One Time Game (featuring Jem Cooke)' and 'Dark Delirium.' All symphonic arrangements are being composed by Kate Simko, alongside London-based arrangers Shane Rutherfoord-Jones and Mike Ladoceur.

This isn't the first time Jones and Simko have collaborated. In 2015, the two released their first single 'One Time Game (featuring Jem Cooke)', piecing together live strings and harp from Simko’s London Electronic Orchestra project alongside Jones’ keen electronic production skills. This year the duo co-produced 'Dark Delirium' for Katy B’s ‘Honey’ album.
