Horse Meat Disco have revealed that they will self-release their debut single, ‘Waiting For You To Call’, on 30th June.

Made up of James Hillard, Severino Panzetta, Jim Stanton and Luke Howard, the four-man DJ crew collaborated with Darren Morris, ROY INC and Luke Solomon on the forthcoming track – the latter providing additional production including live strings, horns and drums.

‘Waiting For You To Call’ will be issued on Horse Meat Disco’s eponymous label as both as a single-sided, one-track record and as a limited 12” three-tracker with alternate versions.

Speaking about ‘Waiting For You To Call’, Hillard said, "Our first release of original music is a nostalgic collaboration between good friends and eclectic tastes.

“An '80s-inspired soul pop record that came from a love of early-morning dancing."

Horse Meat Disco recently took the helm of the DJ Mag Podcast, delivering an hour of disco nuggets ahead of Croatia’s Soundwave festival in July.
