HELP FUNDRAISE FOR KMAH RADIO AND LOCAL HOMELESS CHARITY

The station was recently burgled and the studio ransacked...

Leeds-based KMAH Radio was burgled earlier in August. The station, which boasts hosts like Happa and Bill Brewster, Lo Shea and Futureboogie, Nick Craddock and Cottam, had two brand new CDJ 2000s, a brand new DJM 700, Alto studio mixer and Samsung monitor all taken late one night.

A Just Giving page was set up to help the much-loved station raise funds to buy new gear, but once the culprit was caught their response was hugely admirable. He turned out to be a homeless drug addict and so KMAH announced that a percentage of all funds raised will be donated to Simon on the Streets, a local homeless charity.

Their full reaction is well worth reading and rightfully went viral, with the likes of Midland, 4Hero, Dimensions Festival and more all praising the sentiments.

It can be found in full on their Facebook page, whilst any donations can be made via Just Giving
