LISTEN TO IVY LAB'S WONKY REMIX OF SOFIE LETITRE'S 'WONDER WHEN'

Beautiful madness from the UK trio...

Ivy Lab close out the week with a wonky rework of Dutch singer-songwriter Sofie Letitre.

Having just scooped Best Breakthrough Label for their 20/20 LDN imprint at DJ Mag's Best Of British awards, the trio showcase their production skills for Noisia's experimental outlet, Division Recordings.

Originally produced by Thijs de Vlieger (one third of Noisia) and band colleague Ferdy van der Singe for Letitre's 'Take To Heels' EP, 'Wonder When' gets the signature Ivy Lab twist up. The outfit combine broken percussion with Letitre's haunting vocals to create a mind-bending remix with lashings of groove.

Letitre is a fast-rising new talent, bridging the gap between soul, indietronica and experimental beats. Her 'Uncanny Valley' EP last year offered a dark entry point to her sound, gaining critical acclaim in the process, while 'Take To Heels' offers a lighter, yet no less impressive, side to the singer.
