GLASTONBURY ANNOUNCES FULL BLOCK9 LINE-UP
Hot Chip Prince tribute, Roger Sanchez, Mr G (Live) & so much more...
Glastonbury has announced the full line-up for its Block9 area, the festival’s apocalyptic haven for underground house and techno, which runs from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th June.
The 24-hour party of heavyweight sound systems sees a number highlights across the weekend including a Prince tribute by Hot Chip, a two-hour deep house set from New York legend Roger Sanchez, Mr G (live), Berlin’s Panorama Bar resident ND_BAUMECKER and a Rinse FM takeover.
The area is split into four stages; Genosys, London Underground, NYC Downlow and an all-new new venue for 2016, The Meat Rack, which essentially serves as Downlow’s room two.
Outdoor stage Genosys always provides a few Glastonbury highlights, and this year things kick-off on Thursday with an opening set from Prosumer & Honey Soundsystem.
Elsewhere Bicep, Seth Troxler, The Black Madonna, Joy Orbison, Andy Butler (Hercules & Love Affair), Eats Everything, The Bug, Felix Dickinson, Dungeon Meat, Tama Sumo and De Sluwe Vos are all confirmed, amongst many others.
You can see the full line-ups below or head over to the Block9 area page on Glastonbury’s website for more info.
