Gilles Peterson unveils new festival for 2019

We Out Here is coming to Cambridge in August...

Gilles Peterson has unveiled details of a brand new UK festival.

Described as a “Worldwide Family Gathering”, We Out Here will take place across 15-18 August in Cambridge. The festival site location and line-up is yet to be announced.

Taking its name from Brownswood's 2018 comp of the same name, the festival - which is presented alongside Worldwife FM and Brownswood Recordings - is set to be genre-spanning affair, encompassing electronic, jazz and far beyond.

Peterson said, “What’s amazing about the scene here is that there’s so much legacy as well as being so much future. It really is about bringing all that together on one amazing site.”

With the line-up set to be announced soon, Early Bird tickets will be available to buy via signing up for the We Out Here mailing list

Back in September, Peterson curated a string of London events in aid of the youth mental health charity Safaplace.

In the same month, the Worldwide FM don was among the names who played at Nova Batida in Lisbon.
