Ghetts has decided to skip producing a music video for his single 'Laps', with Moonchild Sanelly', and is giving the money back to his local community.

In lieu of the 'Laps' clip, the London rapper is donating the budget to local sports group Newham and Essex Beagles Athletics Club, which has fostered world-renowned athletes like Sir Mo Farah, Christine Ohuruogu, Daley Thompson and others. Newham native Ghetts will be covering the annual membership fees for 150 young athletes as a way to give back as residents struggle with the cost of living crisis in the wake of the pandemic.

'Laps' is the first single off his upcoming album, 'On Purpose, With Purpose', due out 5th January. New videos for future singles are coming soon.

Ghetts and Moonchild Sanelly previously collaborated on her 'Strip Club' single from 2022 and his 2021 track 'Mozambique' with Jaykae.

Earlier this year, Ghetts worked as a songwriter for the BBC One drama Champion, starring Déja J Bowens, Malcom Kamulete, Corz and Ray BLK.
