Gesaffelstein teases new music: Listen

The French techno luminary is finally back...

Gesaffelstein has teased the imminent release of new music with a  25-second clip on Facebook.

The anticipation of new music from the French techno luminary has been building for several weeks now after projections of his name were spotted on the sides of buildings the world over.

Last week, it was announced that the producer – real name Mike Lévy – had signed to Columbia Records.

The clip shared to Facebook sounded reversed and altogether very abstract. Some kind soul, however, has re-reversed the audio and, as you can hear, it’s much more in keeping with the producer’s style that way round.

Gesaffelstein’s last album proper was released in 2013 via Skrillex’s OWSLA. He hasn’t been resting on laurels however. In 2015, he provided the full soundtrack to French thriller, Maryland. He also produced two tracks on Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ and has collaborated with massive stars including The Weeknd.
