A new compilation is raising money for Palestinian children's relief and medical aid organisations.

'From the River to the Sea', out now, is compiled by UK artist and Nottingham Mix Nights educator Outsider in response to the devastating escalating conflict in Palestine and Israel. It features 20 tracks contributed by the likes of Bella Cuts, AURA, Izzy Locke, Human Resources, Kekec, samb_rules, Getdown Services, Disco Samir and more, as well as Outsider.

All proceeds from sales will be donated to Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

"Huge thanks to all of the artists for contributing their music", Outsider wrote alongside the release on Bandcamp. "Peace and solidarity."

Jordanian artist Toumba has also released a new EP in aid of MAP. 'For Palestine' features six tracks of "lost files, dubs and unreleased material from the vault".

On 7th October, Hamas militants carried out a series of attacks in Israel, including one on the psytrance festival Supernova, resulting in the reported deaths of over 260 people, with 200 more still missing or reportedly taken hostage. Earlier this week, the festival's organisers released a statement about the ongoing search and rescue operations.

Israel has responded to Hamas' attacks with significant airstrikes on Gaza at an "unprecedented scale", and short-notice evacuation warnings before Israeli forces enter on the ground. Al Jazeera reports that Israeli attacks in Gaza have killed 2,808 people and Hamas attacks in Israel have killed 1,400 people.
