Fake Diplo outdoes real Diplo on Twitter

Fake Diplo, aka James Van Der Beek, has launched a parody Twitter account to celebrate playing the influential American producer. Representing an emphasis on the original, the parody account made quick personal comparisons to the likes of Mozart and Van Gogh.

Launched on 17th July with just one word (“chillin”), the feed is a humorous promotion for Viceland’s new series ‘What Would Diplo Do?’; which stars the former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star.  

In less than 110 Tweets, Fake Diplo has already cast himself as the originator of ‘EDM’, took shots at bedroom dubstep producers, pitched reality show ideas, offered his keys to success, and received sketched nudes from Valentino Khan.
