FABRIC TO REOPEN: DANCE MUSIC WORLD REACTS
#SavedFabric...
fabric nightclub announced that it set to reopen after a deal was struck with the Metropolitan Police and Islington council at Highbury Magistrates Court yesterday.
We reported last week that the Farringdon venue was at advanced stages of talks regarding a “non-disclosure agreement” with Islington Town Hall, aimed at agreeing licensing conditions that would allow the club to reopen.
fabric was originally set to have its license appeal hearing on Monday 28th November at Highbury Magistrates Court, after a ruling by Islington’s Licensing Sub Committee revoked the club’s license in the early hours of Wednesday 7th September. The appeal will no longer need to go ahead after yesterday’s agreement.
fabric revealed the news that they are to reopen on social media, which was met with a hugely positive response from the dance music community. Below is what Annie Mac, Eats Everything, Daniel Avery, Goldie, Heidi and more had to say about fabric reopening.

If people stick together & work towards a goal as one then it's doable. The @fabriclondon situation is testament to that. So happy.

It would be great to see the same energy (financial and otherwise) for fabric now aimed at other worthy anti-austerity causes
